Sheffield United let a two-goal slip to concede an injury-time equaliser at Bournemouth this afternoon. The Blades were in dreamland at 2-0 ahead through goals from Gus Hamer and Jack Robinson in either half, before Dango Ouattara halved the deficit and fellow substitute Enes Unal completed the comeback for the home side in injury time for 2-2.
Victory would have given United a real boost going into the international break on an afternoon which saw Dominic Solanke miss a first-half penalty and later have a goal ruled out by VAR for handball. Here's how we rated United's players on the south coast...
9. Gus Hamer 7
Had begun well anyway, snapping into tackles and bringing an energy to United's play, before he gave them the lead with an emphatic finish after Bogle's saved shot rebounded into his path. Picked up his customary booking with 10 minutes still to play in the first half for a late chop but remained heavily involved for the Blades with and without the ball
10. Ben Brereton Diaz 5
Back in the side after his recent injury absence and had a golden chance to mark it with a goal inside the first few minutes when he was sent clear but he shot at Neto rather than past him. It was the type of chance a clinical striker should have gobbled up and set the tone for an up-and-down showing that saw him nudged off the ball for another chance and in one, he couldn't swing a foot at it at all before the opportunity went begging. Made way later on for Osula and was booked after he went off for delaying the taking of a corner
11. Oli McBurnie 6
Had a couple of sights of goal in the first half from headers but couldn't get enough power or direction on either of them and Neto saved comfortably. An ever-willing runner for the team and won more than his fair share of flick-ons for Brereton Diaz while also dropping deep and helping to link play. Was walking like the tin man when he made way for McAtee after a real shift
