Sheffield United put pressure on their early promotion rivals again this evening with a dominant 3-0 victory over Oxford United at Bramall Lane. The Blades eased to three points courtesy of goals from Callum O’Hare and Tyrese Campbell in the first half, and loan star Jesurun Rak-Sakyi in the second.
The margin of victory could have been more but for some decent saves from visiting goalkeeper Jamie Cumming while Gus Hamer somehow didn’t get his name on the scoresheet with three great efforts saved or blocked, although he did get two assists to cement his reputation as one of the best players in the division. Here’s how we rated United’s players ...

9. Callum O'Hare 7.5
His first goal in United colours got the Blades going as he slid in to deflect Campbell's cross/shot home and hopefully that'll give his confidence a real boost after some improved displays of late. O'Hare buzzed about early on with some lovely one-touch link-up and gave the ball away a few times later on as the game progressed but his head never dropped and he kept trying to make things happen, even with the game done and dusted | Sportimage

10. Gus Hamer 8
Started out left again but caused havoc in a free role, setting up Campbell for his customary goal and going close twice more in the first half as he forced saves from Cumming with both his left and right foot. Picked Rak-Sakyi out with a lovely pass for 3-0 and was a constant threat to the Oxford defence before he made way for Shackleton | Sportimage

11. Tyrese Campbell 8
The forward is absolutely loving life at Bramall Lane right now, scoring his fifth goal in six games to double the Blades' lead in the first half as he raced onto Hamer's pass and then had the presence of mind to go around Cumming and slot into the empty net. Could have added to his tally later on as he forced a save from Cumming on the angle - with O'Hare screaming for the cross but you can hardly blame a striker in Campbell's form for shooting - before he made way for One just after the hour mark | Sportimage

12. Subs: Andre Brooks 6
Replaced Rak-Sakyi and took a whack in a challenge after a heavy touch put him in trouble. Also used: Norrington-Davies, Shackleton, T. Davies | Getty Images
