Sheffield United’s unbeaten start to the new season continued this afternoon as they took a hard-earned point from Norwich City. The Blades fought back from Josh Sargent’s early opener to draw 1-1, with skipper Oliver Arblaster grabbing a point for the Blades with a lovely first-time finish.
Jesurun Rak-Sakyi went close after coming off the bench while Harrison Burrows and Gus Hamer also had opportunities to earn United all three points, but they had to settle for one. Here’s how we rated the Blades’ players at Carrow Road...

5. Harrison Burrows 6
Looked a threat from set-pieces with his left foot and went close with a couple of efforts himself, forcing a smart save from Gunn at his near post and then curling an effort just over the angle of post and bar which left the home 'keeper stranded. | Sportimage

6. Oliver Arblaster 7
Led out his boyhood club wearing the armband once again and marked it with the equaliser, a superb first-time finish into the bottom corner on his weaker foot after the ball had bounced to him on the edge of the box. It was a more frantic game than a player of his class would have preferred but he still looked composed on the ball, using that lovely shift of balance to ghost past opponents and drive forward. 7. Vini Souza 7
The Brazilian was excellent defensively, so often breaking up Norwich attacks with a timely interception or committed tackle - one of which saw him take a hefty whack from Callum Doyle in the first half and pick up a booking in the process, to add insult to injury. That perhaps limited him a little in terms of tackling, as he looked to avoid a second caution but he remained committed, taking a whack to the face later on after a clash with Kenny McLean | Sportimage

8. Andre Brooks 7
Saw a fair bit of the ball early doors and troubled the Norwich defence with his direct running, with a lovely bit of second-half skill seeing him ghost past two Norwich players before a firm tackle from a third stopped him in his tracks on the byline. Made way later for Rak-Sakyi but his performance on the right has given Wilder a real selection dilemma | Sportimage
