Here is how we rated the individual performances on a memorable afternoon at Bramall Lane.
5. Callum Robinson 7
Created an almighty roar inside Bramall Lane when he chased down Palace's defenders and forced an early mistake. But didn't quite impose himself on the game and went off injured | Freelance Photo: Simon Bellis
6. David McGoldrick 8
Could, and probably should, have opened the scoring from Lundstram's superb cross but gave Guaita a chance by not hitting the ball as cleanly as he'd perhaps have liked. Made way for Jagielka late on | Getty Images Photo: Shaun Botterill
7. Luke Freeman 8
Arrived earlier than he'd have expected with Fleck's injury but was superb. Full of clever touches and flicks, but put his foot in when needed as well. | Getty Images Photo: Shaun Botterill
8. Oli McBurnie 8
Almost got his head booted off in one high challenge and helped United see out the victory by giving them a focal point up front | Getty Images Photo: Jan Kruger
