Sheffield United owner 'in talks' with French club as Liverpool 'set sights' on European superstar

The January transfer window is just around the corner for Sheffield United, however it is their owner Prince Abdullah in the headlines.

According to reports in France, the Saudi businessman is on the verge of taking over a FIFTH club as he remains in discussions with Ligue 2 side LB Chateauroux.

Already, the 55-year-old owns the Blades, Al Hilal United FC, Kerala United FC, and is a majority shareholder at Belgium side Beerschot.

Talks are expected to accelerate on December 23, as per La Nouvelle Republique, with the French club preparing to host a General Assembly to discuss his proposal.
