Robinson’s emotional goodbye to The Blades

Callum Robinson says he will always have the memories of scoring his first Premier League goal for Sheffield United after leaving the Blades to sign for West Brom.

Robinson helped The Baggies win promotion to the Premier League last season whilst on loan from United, and has signed a five-year deal at The Hawthorns - with Oli Burke joining United as part of the deal.

And in an emotional statement posted on his Instagram account, Robinson thanked the Blades for giving him his first crack at top-flight football.

“I just want to say a big thank you to Sheffield United for a short but sweet season in the Premier League,” Robinson said.

"I was able to score my first Premiership goal for the club which I will always remember. Thank you to all the staff and players for making me feel so welcome from the start. And thank you to all the fans who were always behind us home and away!!

“I wish the club all the best in the future and hope it's another great season for everyone associated with the club! Thanks again 😁⚔️”
