Shaun Miller and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were on target as Sheffield United recorded their third straight win in the Professional Development League.
Manager Nigel Clough was among the crowd at the Redtooth Academy as Chris Morgan’s side beat his former club Derby County 2-0.
Miller dispatched a clinical finish beyond Adam Legzdins from the edge of the box after 13 minutes before Calvert-Lewin, who scored a hat-trick during last month’s FA Youth Cup success over Worcester City, followed suit three minutes after the interval.
Febian Brandy, Florent Cuvelier, Jasper Johns, Jamie Murphy and Mark Howard also featured for United.
Murphy and Brandy both went close during the closing stages with the latter forcing a smart save from Legzdins with a well-taken set-piece.
Calvert-Lewin, a first year scholar, made his presence felt at the opposite end of the pitch by denying Valentin Gjokaj as County threatened a comeback.
