Luke Shaw, Axel Tuanzebe and Nemanja Matic all trained with their Reds teammates today after spells out injured.

Shaw has been ruled out since August while Axel Tuanzebe, who faced United on loan at Aston Villa last season, also trained.

Matic’s return to action could be timely given Scott McTominay’s absence, with an ankle injury which forced him to miss Scotland’s games over the international break.
