As we gear up to jump right into the thick of another weekend of Premier League action, the rumour mill shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.

For Sheffield United, the January transfer window could represent a crucial opportunity to reinforce Chris Wilder’s struggling squad, and it looks as if the Blades are already making plans for next month.

According to Belgian outfit Walfoot, United have been in touch with Club Brugge over a potential move for striker Emmanuel Dennis.

The 23-year-old scored a brace against Real Madrid in the Champions League last season, but has struggled for form this season, and could be let go for as little as £7.3 million in the coming weeks.

An asking price of more than double that amount was touted when the Blades were linked over the summer.
