PH on Aaron Ramsdale

I’ve been impressed with him. I’ve seen most of the games this season and he came in for some criticism and made a point-blank save against West Brom, it was a big, big moment and I texted Wardy about it afterwards because he deserved that. And he never looked back from there, showing the same good habits and it shows a good mentality that he came through that. He’s been excellent since I worked with him and I’ve got nothing but praise for him.

PH on his own caretaker role

It’s a different role. When you’re temporary it’s a different role, it’s a bit like babysitting. As a manager you can make change and to change the environment and results, you have to be able to do that. When you step up temporary, you can’t. You’re not in charge of staff and things like that. You can pick the team but that’s about it. That’s when you struggle because nothing’s really changed, it’s all superficial.

PH is asked if he is confident about Blades’ Championship chances

These players have done it before in that league, either here and got promoted or got signed with good records in the Championship. There’s evidence in the other clubs who have gone down and been smooth in transition and kept the squad together as much as they can. So I see no reason not be optimistic because the evidence is there for everyone to see.
