Brighton’s surprise win over Liverpool last night means that they’ve pulled away from the bottom three and Burnley, who had been on a decent run have been sucked right back in.

If nothing else, it shows that in Sheffield United’s bid to escape the drop this season, there are likely to be many, many more twists and turns before the campaign comes to a close.

Chelsea are next up for the Blades and with that match coming on Sunday, it will be tomorrow before we hear from Chris Wilder about the shape of his squad going into the weekend.
