Sheffield United keepers Dean Henderson AND Simon Moore earn high praise from Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Simon Moore will step up into the Premier League this afternoon for Sheffield United, with regular stopper Dean Henderson ineligible to take on parent club Manchester United.

Moore is a player that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows well from their time together at Cardiff City and ahead of the Bramall Lane Sunday afternoon showdown, the Red Devils' boss has been pouring praise on both goalkeepers.

Solskjaer appears delighted with the development of Henderson during his time at the Blades, which has seen the England call-up adapt to life in the top flight with relative ease follwoing a promotion-winning campaign last season.

Sheffield United and Chris Wilder have had a big impact on him,” Solskjaer told MUTV. “He's learning and growing as a human being and as a player.

”He'll come back one day and he'll have a good career at Man United.”

When asked if he’s glad Henderson isn’t playing, the Norwegian admitted it was something of a boost but Moore is a goalkeeper he also knows well.

“Dean's done really well for them and Sheffield United has been really good for him,” he added. “Then again, Simon Moore, the second goalkeeper, if he'll play, I've had him at Cardiff as well, so he's still a good goalie.”
