Sheffield United can take the positives from their defeat at Bolton today, according to The Star's Blades expert James Shield.
United lost 1-0 at the Macron Stadium thanks to Jay Spearing's stunning volley, and Chris Wilder bemoaned his side's finishing as they spurned a number of early chances.
George Long was the only goalkeeper to make a serious save, from Darren Pratley's header, but James reckons that statistic doesn't tell the whole story of the game between two League One heavyweights.
"That will be difficult to take for Chris Wilder, as it would be for any manager, but football can be a cruel game at times," James said.
"I don't think anyone could argue that United deserved at least a point from the game and even if they had, I still think they'd have felt hard done by that they didn't win the game."
