Henderson, who has played every game he has been eligible for in the Premier League this season for the Blades, signed a new long-term deal at Old Trafford in the summer before rejoining Chris Wilder's side for a second loan spell.

But his performances since have caught the eye of a number of clubs, both in this country and abroad, as well as the England senior manager, Gareth Southgate.

And ESPN report that Henderson is set to be offered a new deal at Old Trafford, to reflect his performances this season and ward off bids from clubs that can offer first-team football. David De Gea is also under contract in Manchester and is unlikely to be sold - meaning another loan spell could be Henderson's best hope of playing regular games.
