Sheffield United fans can now pretend they are Chris Wilder on Football Manager while stuck at home - FOR FREE
So in an attempt to help football fans get their fix and give you all something else to think about away from self-isolation, the developers behind the Football Manager game have brought joy to the nation.
The company tweeted on Wednesday that for a week, they would be allowing everyone free access to play the game on a PC or a Mac.

The head of Sports Interactive Games, MIles Jacobson, had already said yesterday: Just to let everyone know that we will not be doing an update to #FM20 to reflect this or postponed leagues as we want it to be an escape from Covid-19, not a reminder of it. Stay safe everyone x”
The gesture means Sheffield United fans can attempt to better what even Chris Wilder has done at the Blades this season, while we await news of when football is likely to return again.
