Blades fan Kyle Walker admits he enjoyed his latest return to Bramall Lane as his Manchester City side beat Sheffield United 1-0.

Substitute Sergio Aguero came off the bench to score the winner for City against the spirited Blades side, who ran City close for the second time in a matter of weeks.

Walker came through the ranks at Bramall Lane and frequently returns to watch his boyhood side in action, when his City commitments allow.

And the England international admitted after the game: “It says a lot about this club [United and where they are in the league… they set up well and we found them hard to break down.

"It's always good to come back here, I come back and watch when I can but it was important to bounce back from the weekend. I'm grateful for the three points and the clean sheet.

"This year we need to look at ourselves as a team, rather than individually."
