Hide AdOn their last visit to the New Den, the Blades triumphed 3-2 in a back-and-forth Championship clash last season.
The first two meetings between the sides took place in the FA Cup with United winning both – 3-1 at home in the first round proper in February 1895 and 4-0 away in the third round in February 1914.
Fourth round ties will be played on the weekend of January 24 with scheduled dates to be confirmed later this week.
