Neill Collins will return to Sheffield United’s squad for tomorrow’s match with Coventry City, manager Nigel Clough has confirmed.
Collins, who has been nursing an ankle problem, trained with United’s squad at the Redtooth Academy this morning and is set to feature against Steven Pressley’s side.
“Neill has worked with the lads and he’s okay,” Clough told The Star. “So we’re expecting him to come into contention and he should be fine.”
United enter the final game of the season knowing they can finish no lower than eighth despite being 21st when Clough took charge seven months ago. City are 17th but bolstered by the news that captain Carl Baker (ankle) and fellow defender Jordan Willis (knee) are both available for the visit to South Yorkshire.
Clough, who will assess Matt Hill (calf) before naming his starting eleven, admitted full-back Bob Harris (groin) is set to miss-out.
“No, we can’t see Bob being ready,” Clough said. “He’s not going to play.”
