The club announced the decision this afternoon.

A statement read: “Given the current Coronavirus concerns, the club have taken the decision to suspend all planned stadium tours (Thursday club and matchday) with immediate effect.

“This is designed to limit the amount of non-club staff who are entering areas behind the scenes at Bramall Lane that are specific to members of club management, playing and office staff, in a bid to reduce the likeliness of possible contamination.

“Please note, this is purely a precautionary measure that has been taken on the advice of club medical staff.”

Full refunds for those who have already booked stadium tours are now available, although the club warn that the ticket office is currently inundated with requests for tickets for the FA Cup quarter-final against Arsenal and advise fans to wait until next week onwards before requesting refunds.
