Ben Woodburn could find himself playing against Sheffield United team mates John Egan and Enda Stevens next month after being selected by Wales for the forthcoming meetings with the Republic of Ireland and Denmark.

Woodburn, on loan from Liverpool, joins former United midfielder David Brooks in his country's 25 man squad after making an encouraging start to the new Championship campaign.

Wales face Martin O'Neill's squad, which includes Stevens and Egan, on September 6 in Cardiff before travelling to Aarhus for the second of two League of Nations ties three days later.

United youngster Rhys Norrington-Davies has been called-up by Wales under-21's, coached by former Bramall Lane favourite Robert Page, for European Championship qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Portugal.
