Stefan Scougall has completed his transfer to Sheffield United.

The former Livingston midfielder, who made his Scotland under-21 debut earlier this term, spent yesterday at United’s Redtooth Academy before receiving international clearance ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup tie against Fulham.

Scougall, who has agreed a three-and-a-half year contract with Nigel Clough’s side, could cost United up to £400,000.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Peterborough, who visit Bramall Lane on Wednesday, had also courted his signature.
