Harry Maguire found a taste of home as he celebrated following England's dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Colombia in the World Cup round of 16.
The Sheffield-born central defender played a pivotal role in the success which takes the Three Lions into a quarter-final with Sweden on Saturday and afterwards ran to the crowd to pick out his family and girlfriend, Fern Hawkins.
From there the Mosborough man and former Sheffield United player picked out a Blades flag and showed it off to nearby photographers.
Leicester City player Maguire was superb in the England backline and came in for some special praise from former international forward Ian Wright, who was working as a pundit on ITV.
“I remember watching him when he played for Sheffield United and he would get the ball and go through the whole team," said Wright. "Sheffield United fans were cheering and they would big him up, the way he passed the ball and ran with the ball.
“He does it at this level, tried the runs out the back, runs through midfield and take chances with his passes. We need that.”
