A message from the Blades

Mega TV event in the summer?

The Independent has claimed that plans are afoot for a tournament-style finish to the 2019/20 Premier League campaign in June/July, where all of the remaining 92 matches would be televised.

The report states that plans are being put together for a behind closed doors, "World Cup-style" event that would see clubs based in the Midlands and around London in training camps, with strict measures in place to keep all players and non-playing staff away from others.

Harry Kane on the season end point (via BBC Sport)

"I know the Premier League will do everything it can to finish the season.

"There needs to be a point where enough is enough. Probably the limit for me is the end of June."
