Former Sheffield United boss Bryan Robson is to take legal advice following claims made Monday’s Channel 4 programme Dispatches.
The programme alleged he offered Thailand businessmen advice about dodging rules on club ownership. The FA are monitoring footage before deciding whether to take any action against Robson - who was acting as an advisor to the London Nominees Football Fund.
“I am appalled that footage has been edited to suggest I was involved in an attempt to try and breach these rules - which is something I would not do” he said. “The journalists were repeatedly told that owning multiple clubs was a breach of the rules.”
