Revealed! The intriguing increase in Sheffield United's squad value since Chris Wilder took charge

A recent study has shown which Premier League managers have been the best at increasing the value of their squads since they took charge – so where does Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder rank?

The 53-year-old has been in charge of the Blades since 2016, taking his boyhood club from virtually nowhere in League One and into the Premier League.

Each manager has been judged on how they’ve helped increase the value of players currently in their squad, so any players who have left the club during a manager's time in charge have not been included in the study by BettingOdds.com.

To determine the effect a manager has had on a player’s worth, the study analysed how much a player’s value has increased or decreased since they’ve been managed by their current boss. All figures in the study are from Transfermarkt.com.
