Revealed: How much Sheffield United have spent in agent fees

Sheffield United paid more than £7m to agents during a 12 month period ending in February this year, according to figures released by the Football Association.

The exact sum, £7,081,018, placed them 16th on the list of the Premier League’s 20 clubs, with only Burnley, Crystal Palace, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion handing over less to intermediaries.

This weekend’s opponents Leeds parted company with £7,034,943 according to figures released yesterday.
