Reported Sheffield United and Leeds United target makes transfer admission about Celtic future
Celtic defender Jack Hendry, a reported target of Sheffield United this summer, remains tight-lipped about his future amid links with the Blades, Leeds United and West Brom.
The defender earned a place in the Scotland squad for this summer’s European Championships with his performances on loan with KV Oostende – whose manager, Alexander Blessin was a contender for the Blades job before Slavisa Jokanović was unveiled at Bramall Lane.
Media reports suggest that Leeds and the Baggies may yet enter the race for Hendry, who said: “My main focus is just on the Euros and whatever happens afterwards will happen.
“The most important thing for me next season is playing regularly at the highest level possible.
“I think my game has come on a lot this year by playing games.
“I’m in a position now where I’ve got doors open. But even so, I’m not got any other distractions right now. I’m concentrating on these group stages and then we’ll see what happens afterwards.”
