Sheffield United continued their impressive start to life in the Championship by beating Ipswich Town at Bramall Lane.

But how did United's players fare in the 1-0 victory? Our man Danny Hall gives his ratings from the game.

Jamal Blackman 7 - Made one decent save to deny Waghorn but almost let Ipswich in by being too cool in passing to Wright

Kieron Freeman 7 - Looked good on his return to the side before being stretchered off with a nasty-looking dislocated knee

Chris Basham 8 - Superb, even before his winner. Moved to wing-back after Freeman went off and didn’t look out of place

Cameron Carter-Vickers 8 - Looked better in the middle of the three before Freeman’s injury. Defended and brought ball out well

Jack O'Connell 8 - A typical O’Connell performance, and spent more time in Ipswich’s box than his own in a very good first half

Enda Stevens 8 - Seems to grow by the game. A constant threat down the left, and snuffed out a few dangerous attacks

John Fleck 8 - Did well in the absence of the suspended Coutts. Withstood some heavy tackles to cross for the winner

John Lundstram 7 - He’s no Coutts, but Lundstram had a steady game and kept the ball well. Will only grow as a player by game

Mark Duffy 8.5 - Just pips Fleck and Basham as man of match. A lung-busting run back to snuff out danger drew a huge cheer

Billy Sharp 7 - Might not be quite match fit and had a quiet game, although did well early on to almost set up tap-in for Clarke

Leon Clarke 7 - Twice went close to another goal, hitting the crossbar with a superb volley. Worked hard throughout

Substitutes: Jake Wright - 7 Replaced Freeman and helped keep a clean sheet, although mix-up with Blackman almost cost them dearly

David Brooks - 7.5 Another impressive cameo. Defenders were obviously scared to get close to him and he almost scored

Daniel Lafferty - Came on late on and helped United preserve their lead. Will struggle to oust impressive Stevens for games
