The Black Country club announced on Sunday that the boss has agreed a new three-year deal, after already leading three hugely successful seasons in charge at Molineux.

However, while there’ll be a bit of a buzz around Wolves ahead of their trip to Bramall Lane, the boss is wary of taking on a side who he has descibed as ‘amazing’.

Espirito Santo is expecting a hugely difficult challenge in the Premier League this season, after a gruelling campaign last time out which also took them to the quarter-final of the Europa League.

“Not only against Sheffield, it’s going to be difficult against everybody,” he said. “We start with Sheffield on Monday and they are a fantastic team.

“Chris, his staff and his players are amazing, and I truly admire them, as a club and as people. Monday is going to be tough, but I expect a very good game.

“It’s going to be a new game. We’ve faced Sheffield several times in the Championship and the Premier League and all the games were always very competitive, very hard and very difficult for us.

“We expect a similar game on that aspect, but what we have to do, we have to play football.”
