'Naughty team' - Sheffield United fans happy with the line-up as Blades make four changes to take on Man City

Sheffield United made four changes to the side that beat Manchester United on Wednesday night as they prepare to take on Manchester City at the Etihad.

John Egan has returned to the heart of the Blades defence in place of the backline hero from that victory at Old Trafford, Phil Jagielka.

One of the goalscorers has also missed out as he wasn’t deemed fit enough to start – Kean Bryan dropping onto the bench in favour of Jayden Bogle who plays as a left-wing bak in the continued absence of the injured Enda Stevens.

The midfield remains the same, with Oliver Norwood, John Lundstram and John Fleck keeping their place but there’s a double change up front.

Rhian Brewster comes in to start alongside the man who scored the winner against the Red Devils, Oliver Burke.

David McGoldrick and Billy Sharp also drop to the bench. Oli McBurnie is there, too, after recovering from injury.

They are joined by Wes Foderingham, Phil Jagielka, Max Lowe, Lys Mousset, young defender Kyron Gordon and Bryan.

United fans appeared happy overall with the line-up, especially given the amount of effort that was put in on Wednesday night.
