DANNY Wilson, the Sheffield United, faces a welcome selection headache in midfield ahead of their meeting with Preston North End at Bramall Lane this weekend.
Lee Williamson is expected to be available for selection again, having missed the midweek win at Huddersfield Town due to a calf muscle problem
Should the former Rotherham United player, who sustained the knock in the 3-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers, be passed fit for the Lilywhites clash, Wilson faces a tough call over who to play in the right flank position as United chase an 11th win in 13 league outings. Ryan Flynn deputised and impressed against the Terriers.
The Blades leapfrogged Sheffield Wednesday into second spot after beating Huddersfield and Wilson claims his troops will “take some stopping” as the promotion battle hots up.
Of their triumph in West Yorkshire, he said: “Some of the football we played was fantastic, and if we keep this run going we will take some stopping. It’s important that we have moved up to second but we need to be there in the last few weeks of the season.
“The boys can take a lot of confidence from this and the fans have been great. They have been with us all the way and there’s a feel-good factor around the place now.”
Wilson also labelled his two centre-backs, Harry Maguire and Neill Collins as ‘immense’ but the ex-Northern Ireland international added: “We can’t dwell on this one.”
