PLAYER TO WATCH
Former Sheffield United centre-forward Izale McLeod has scored 15 goals in 33 appearances for Crawley Town this season, including a hat-trick against Barnsley a fortnight ago. McLeod, aged 30, was born in Perry Barr, Birmingham, but progressed through the ranks at Derby County. He moved to Bramall Lane on loan 11 years ago before representing MK Dons, Charlton, Barnet and Portsmouth. McLeod has been capped once by England at under-21 level.
Sheffield United and Crawley Town have faced each other just five times in competitive action with tomorrow’s visitors to the Checkatrade.com Stadium winning on three occasions and the hosts just once. Jose Baxter, who is serving the second match of a three game ban, scored the only goal of the game when these two sides met at Bramall Lane six months ago. That result saw United climb above Crawley in the table to 12th. Fleetwood Town led the way at that stage of the season with Peterborough in second.
