Mark Lawrenson reveals why he thinks Sheffield United will claim first win of the season this weekend

In his weekly predictions piece for BBC Sport, pundit Mark Lawrenson backed Chris Wilder's side to book their place in the fourth round with a solid 2-0 win.

Discussing his choice further, Lawro contended: "Sheffield United have not won a game all season but surely Saturday is the day they finally get something to celebrate on their coach journey home.

"I am a fan of Bristol Rovers boss Paul Tisdale, but the Blades will get through if they play anything like their best team - they should do, too."

The last time the two sides met, back in 2017, the two sides played out a goalless draw in League One.

Last season, the Blades made it all the way to the quarter-finals of the competition, before crashing out at the hands of eventual winners Arsenal.
