The Blades are rock bottom of the Premier League table with relegation already confirmed, but a couple of wins from their last four games would do the side's confidence the world of good ahead of next season's Championship campaign.

Writing in his weekly predictions piece for BBC Sport, Mark Lawrenson turned his attention to United's clash against the Eagles, opted for a 1-0 Palace win.

“I think that losing run ends at Bramall Lane, although I am not expecting a classic.”

Meanwhile, Lawro's sparring partner for the week, The Sherlocks drummer and Sheffield Wednesday fan Brandon Cook, backed Palace to win 2-0, and claimed: “Sheffield United have been awful all season, I think the other managers figured them out this time.
