Sheffield United are back in Premier League action this weekend, when they take on David Moyes' West Ham United at Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon.

Writing in his weekly predictions column for BBC Sport, pundit Mark Lawrenson backed a 2-0 victory for Chris Wilder's side.

Justifying his prediction, the ex-Liverpool defender claimed: "It's surprising to see Sheffield United struggling so badly. The worrying thing for them last time out was not that they lost to Chelsea, but that they had such a soft centre.

"That is unusual for Chris Wilder's team so the alarm bells will be ringing. I am backing them to turn the corner this weekend, though."

Meanwhile, Lawro's sparring partner for the week, Idles bassist Adam Devensonshire, picked a 1-0 win for the Hammers.

Last time the two sides met, back in January, Oli McBurnie's second-half goal saw the Blades grab a 1-0 victory at Bramall lane.
