The England international joined United on loan as a goalkeeper who hadn't played higher than League One level, but returned to his parent club as an established Premier League player and in the England squad.
Henderson is expected to be on the Red Devils' bench when Solskjær's men travel to Bramall Lane tomorrow night, with David De Gea seemingly established as Solskjær's No.1

Hide AdAnd the Norwegian said: "It just shows sometimes how beneficial some loan deals are. Dean's worked his way up through the ranks and the two years at Sheff Utd made him come back as a more mature, quality goalkeeper.
"He's had some experiences there with a great promotion and his year in the Premier League was very valuable for us and for him.
"He's made his England debut now since he's come back and I feel he's learning more and more the Manchester United style.
"Our play is a bit different, we have a couple of different demands of him obviously, but we're very grateful to Sheffield United and Chris (Wilder) that they've given him a chance to develop as they did."
