Slavisa Jokanovic and George Baldock faced the media this afternoon ahead of the trip down south.

Here’s a recap of the big themes from the press briefing...

Slavisa Jokanovic LIVE press conference

More in tune with manager’s methods now?

A lot of hard work is going in, we have a lot of meetings to go over things and we’re always looking to improve. It’s still early in the season and we’re not a million miles off the levels we need to be at to reach our goal, it’s up to us to keep going and taking everything the gaffer and his staff are giving to us.

Play against different styles?

It was different to the onslaught against West Brom, this was not dealing with individual duels and winning our races. It wasn’t about getting undone by teams launching it into the box, we were second to balls and a yard off it. It’s disappointing but we need to make sure we’re at it on Saturday.

Why having teething problems this season?

Since I came here we’ve played a formation and recruited for it, the new gaffer has his ideas and it was always going to take time. Especially with how detailed he is and the intricacies. The other night was disappointing, we weren’t at it and on another day they don’t score the wondergoal or we equalise and it’s a different game. It’s about bouncing back quickly.

How deal with tough times?

You have to stay consistent and not listen to outside noise, it’s alright when things are going well but when they aren’t, you hear other people’s opinions and successful people stay in the moment, don’t get too high or low.

I still say to all my family, the best day was the game at Hillsborough. Coming from a club down south and talking to all the locals, they told me the importance of the fixture but I didn’t really understand it until I stepped out there and it hit me in the face. A brilliant day and my favourite moment.

George Baldock is first up...

and first up, is asked about how it will feel to make his 150th appearance for the Blades as he nears that milestone...

It’s a really proud moment, it’s the best decision of my life to come here and I haven’t looked back. Eighty to 85 per cent of it has been really good, on the whole it’s been fantastic and the best decision I’ve made. I knew I was coming to an ambitious club and I knew they had aspirations to get to the Premier League, but to get there so quickly was brilliant. There’s a tinge of disappointment because of last year, I’d have liked to have sustained our status all my time here but it wasn’t to be and we’ve got to try and get back there.
