VIDEO: Blades 1 Oldham 0 - The Star's James Shield on Sheffield United's FA Cup 2nd round win

Matt Done was the goal hero for Sheffield United but The Star's James Shield reflected on a fine second half team performance from the Blades as they beat Oldham 1-0.

United went down to ten men when Che Adams was sent off for an altercation with the Latics' Liam Kelly, after Done had put the home side in front.

And they weathered something of a storm in the latter stages of the game, with the result reflecting a battling performance by the Blades.

James said: "It wasn't the most spectacular of wins but it was good to see the players getting a clean sheet after going down to ten men. There have been some questions marks about the durability of this team and although they had a sucker punch against Barnsley last week, what happened out there, they had to hang on against a very pacy Oldham attack. They played with a combative steak last week and I think this (win against Oldham) answered the question about that aspect of Sheffield United at present."
