Norwegian club Stabaek have reportedly confirmed that they have held transfer talks with Sheffield United over a star midfielder.

20-year-old Emil Bohinen has been attracting interest from around the continent, and according to Norwegian publication Budstikka, Satbaek have confirmed that they’ve held talks with both Sheffield United and Championship side Leeds United.

Apparently, Bohinen has even been training with Sheffield United, with a January move a possibility.

Former England midfielder Jack Rodwell has also been training with the Blades in recent weeks with the view of a potential move.

Blades boss Chris Wilder confirmed that a move for Rodwell was possible, despite the midfielder having not played competitively since April.
