The Blades frontman has been linked with a move away from Bramall Lane in recent weeks after making just one league start this season.

But Sharp has reportedly turned down the chance to return to Championship side Forest, where he finished leading scorer during a nine-month loan spell at the City Ground in 2012-13.

The Daily Star is also reporting that the 33-year-old marksman has rejected a move to join Neil Lennon’s Scottish champions.
