Sheffield United have been linked with a shock move for former England international keeper Ben Foster.

Foster currently plays for Watford, and the Sun on Sunday report that the Blades could seek his services if the Hornets are relegated in May.

Watford certainly look in trouble, and lost to fellow strugglers Southampton this weekend before manager Quique Sanchez Flores was given the sack.

The report also suggests that a deal to sign Dean Henderson permanently would be very costly for United, though Blades fans will still hope that the stopper could stay at Bramall Lane for some time yet.

Foster would likely be an option if Henderson were to return to Old Trafford at the end of the campaign, though there is plenty of football to be played before then.
