The Blades went into this afternoon’s Boxing Day clash at home to Watford with four players on four bookings, knowing that a yellow card against the Hornets would result in an automatic one-match ban.

Ollie Norwood, Chris Basham, John Lundstram and George Baldock were all left walking the disciplinary tightrope against the Hornets, in a game that eventually finished 1-1 when skipper Norwood’s penalty cancelled out Gerard Deulofeu’s opening goal.

The four men have all been in fine form for Chris Wilder’s men this season, and should all be available for selection against Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad on Sunday – barring any injury concerns. Lundstram was twice caught late in challenges against Watford, but completed 90 minutes.
