Sheffield United: Fresh twist over Dean Henderson's long-term future as Manchester United goalkeeper 'attracts interest from European giants'
The 22-year-old helped United win promotion to the Premier League last season before re-joining the Blades on loan in the summer. He has been instrumental in fifth-placed United having the second-best defensive record in the top-flight, although he is ineligible to face his parent club this weekend at Bramall Lane.
Henderson has made no secret of his desire to be No.1 at Old Trafford, but his path was made a little more complicated when David De Gea signed a new long-term deal with the Red Devils in the summer.

Hide AdThat move led to national newspaper reports that the Old Trafford hierarchy would consider offers in the region of £20m for Henderson – prompting many Blades to urge United to secure his permanent signature.
If that is the case, though, United are set to face some stiff competition – with reports this morning that European giants Bayern Munich are monitoring Henderson, as their long-term successor to Manuel Neuer.
