Sheffield United fans back striker David McGoldrick to end his goal drought

Chris Wilder, the Sheffield United manager, has made one change for the Boxing Day clash with basement side Watford at Bramall Lane.

Thursday, 26th December 2019, 3:08 pm

Midfielder John Fleck returns from suspension to replace Luke Freeman, who drops to the bench.

It means Olli McBurnie and David McGoldrick once again lead the line, with Lys Mousset remaining on the bench.

The in-form Blades go into the game in fifth place having won their last three matches – and come into the busy Christmas period on the back of a 1-0 victory at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
