The Blades take on the Magpies in their second game of three in a seven-day period, sandwiched between Sunday’s draw at Wolves and this Sunday’s long trip to Norwich City.

But Wilder this morning revealed he has no real fresh injury concerns; although he may soon be forced into shuffling his pack, with three key players – George Baldock, John Fleck and John Lundstram – all on four yellow cards, and one booking away from a ban.

“I have got that option to rotate. Everybody is fit and it is a testament to the conditioning work and work done by people away from lights. It is really valuable.

"There is always an element of luck with injuries, but an element of conditioning and hard work away from first-team games. We are nice and strong at the moment and it gives us the opportunity to rotate if we want to; whether on Thursday night or Sunday.

"We will have a look at the players, they are in good nick and playing well. I''d imagine they'd be disappointed if they are not involved, but I have got to make the right deciison to get the best result for the football club."
