Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder says Watford point 'a fair result' after admitting side made 'poor decisions' and 'went individual'

Ben Foster produced one of the saves of the season to deny United three points as he flung his body in the way of John Fleck's six-yard effort to keep it out.

Ollie Norwood had earlier cancelled out Gerard Deulofeu's effort from the penalty spot but United couldn't find a winner.

And Wilder said: "It was a fair result. It was always going to be a tough game and we huffed and puffed, but we couldn't find that pass.

"They have some fabulous players and a manager who knows how to win in Nigel Pearson, who's a really good football man.

"In the first half we had too many touches and overplayed, and in the second when we did play quicker and got in better positions, we couldn't find that final pass/run/finish.

"When we did, Ben made a good save but I still think John should score.

"We set the game up in the first half to take it to the next level and when we're at our best I always feel something's coming, but it was never like that.

"We made bad decisions and went a bit individual, so we could never build momentum."
