Lundstram, a boyhood Liverpool fan who progressed through Everton’s academy as a youngster, missed Sunday’s defeat at Manchester City after damaging his ankle in the Boxing Day draw against Watford.

Wilder later admitted that Lundstram had made the injury worse by playing against the Hornets.

And speaking ahead of the trip to Anfield, Wilder revealed: “I believe John will take part in a full training session today [Tuesday] so we’ll see how he comes through that.”

Lundstram aside, Wilder reported a clean bill of health for his squad ahead of the trip to Anfield to face Jurgen Klopp’s men, who are unbeaten in 50 MATCHES in the Premier League.

“We had the report on everyone and we came through the City game well, health-wise. We’ve got a full quota to pick from.”
