Sheffield United: Blades complete their first signing of the summer as Luke Freeman checks in
The midfielder, Chris Wilder's first signing since last season's promotion winning campaign, arrives on a three year contract from Queens Park Rangers.
Although his fee remains officially undisclosed, United today acknowledged it surpasses the £4m they have now paid Brentford following John Egan's arrival last summer.

Freeman was voted Rangers' player of the year last term, after scoring eight times in 48 appearances. Born in Dartford, he started his career at Gillingham before entering Arsenal's youth system and has also represented the likes of Stevenage and Bristol City.
Wilder, the United manager, admitted a deal was close to being finalised yesterday.
"It's been on-going for a few weeks and it was something I was keen to pursue," Freeman said. "I know a few of the lads after playing against them over the years."
