The in-form Blades were thwarted in their bid to make it four successive wins by Hornets ‘keeper Ben Foster, who pulled of a stunning save to deny John Fleck midway through the second half.

Earlier, Ollie Norwood had levelled from the spot for Chris Wilder’s men nine minutes before the break after Gerard Deulofeu had given the visitors the lead in the 27th minute.

@CMcB_89 Probably shouldn't grumble about a point in the premier league.... Maybe I'm being spoilt and greedy now #twitterblades

@s24su Foster did really well to keep it level, the one from Fleck a stand out. #sufc #twitterblades

@zdanplattz Watford like Newcastle set up to defend frustrate and hit us on the break, just couldn’t finish them off, we’ll play worse than that and win #Twitterblades

@SUFCGCB Sub par performance today and struggled to get going, especially in the first half. Hats off to Ben Foster, what a save that was to deny Fleck. Onto the Champions

@Justy1Rice Decent point against yet another team that just sits in. Maybe lacked a bit of composure today, move on to a massive week. Another point on table in @premierleague

@DaniBryan89 Happy with the draw. Thought we huffed & puffed but missed that bit of quality in the final 3rd. All 3 in Midfield off the pace today for me, got to credit Watford aswell for making it that way. Onto the next, some mediocre sides to come.

@unitedite Never quite fell right today. Accuracy of passing a bit off, tempo and movement a yard off. A bit naive in allowing them to take fouls. Yet it's taken a wonder save to stop us taking three points. Ten points from the last five though. We'd have all taken that. #twitterblades

@Henni_Papenfuss Not going to criticise United today, Watford came with a plan and it worked. Instead I'd like to heap praise on Watfords @BenFoster incredible performance from the bloke, 2 of the saves of the season.
