Sheffield United returned to winning ways this afternoon as they beat Stoke City 2-0 at Bramall Lane. The Blades went into the game on the back of defeats to Leeds United and Middlesbrough but were good value for their latest three points, which could have arrived with an ever greater margin.
Kieffer Moore and former Stoke man Tyrese Campbell got the goals in either half, while visiting goalkeeper Viktor Johansson - the former Rotherham United man who was a target of the Blades previously - made a number of fine saves, denying Vini Souza two stunning goals alone. On an afternoon that United paid tribute to George Baldock, victory was theirs.
Here’s how we rated the Blades’ players in front of almost 29,000 at Bramall Lane...

5. Harrison Burrows 6
Back in the side after being left on the bench for Wednesday night's defeat at Middlesbrough and linked up beautifully with O'Hare early on, a little backheel setting the winger free to set up a chance. Picked out Moore with a superb cross in the first half but the striker headed over | Sportimage

6. Oliver Arblaster 7
Gave United something of an injury scare in the second half when he went down in the Stoke box and stayed down, but after a bit of TLC from the United physios he was back in midfield and running about with bags of energy. A solid rather than spectacular display from the Blades skipper but he's set such high standards that it's easy to forget he's still only 20 and his consistency despite that is remarkable, really | Sportimage

7. Vini Souza 8
Also back in as one of three changes after his suspension and almost marked it with an absolute stunner of a strike as he let fly from miles out early on and caught it with real venom, but Johansson was equal to it and palmed it away. Souza had another superb effort in the second half that was arrowing towards Johansson's top corner before the Swede tipped it over. Couldn't believe he picked up a second-half booking after tracking his man from deep and then bringing him down but it looked a fair call in real-time. He then committed a pretty similar-looking foul nearer the hour mark which - luckily for United - went unpunished. Either both were yellow cards, or neither were. But another real energetic display in the middle of the park | Getty Images

8. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi 7.5
Watching him this season in a United shirt is going to be a lot of fun. Absolutely rapid, in thought as well as body, and Stoke's defence visibly retreated whenever he picked up the ball and ran at them. Had a couple of good openings in the first half and picked up an assist early in the second, profiting on Gibson's slip and then unselfishly picking out Campbell in a tight area to double United's lead. Made way just after the hour for Brooks | Sportimage
